Ezra Derangement Syndrome #146: Milo bails on Rebel lose cruise

Ezra Levant’s Caribbean cruise ship hasn’t left the dock yet and already the ol’ Hate Boat has sprung a leak.

Readers will recall how the Breitbart North supremo last year concocted a plan to relieve his unhinged followers of thousands of dollars from their dwindling RRIFs: The Ship of Tools, a week-long voyage through Caribbean islands, featuring Ezra’s posse of Rebel loudmouth-breathers.

Most sane folks would prefer a week-long colonoscopy to getting shanghaied with the likes of Brian Lilley, Faith Goldy and Candice Malcolm, but Ez’ is counting on the Rebel faithful to join him aboard Holland America’s Nieuw Amsterdam, sailing Nov. 20.

Alas, the cruise has gone woefully undersubscribed, forcing the little pisher to offer free welcome cocktails, complimentary Timbits, free bingo daubers and rehydration salts for that inevitable bout of Norwalk, lest the entire enterprise sink like the Bismarck.

Worse, Ezra’s star attraction on the cruise has pulled out. Just a few months ago, Ez’ was raving about Milo Yiannopoulos, poster boy for the alt-right movement and self-styled internet super villain.

“A lot of people hate Milo because he’s a gay conservative,” Ezra enthused to the satirical press (Frank Prank, Aug. 5).

“I’ve never seen evidence that he is racist. He talks about blacks and he jokes about how much he likes black guys. He is an entertainer, like Ann Coulter. He’s crazier than she is.”

But after he compared Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones to Harambe the gorilla, Milo was hit with a lifetime Twitter ban—which ignited his career as a free speech firebrand and pushed his new public speaking rates beyond Ezra’s budget.

Exit Milo, replaced by none other than Lorne “Two-gun” Gunter, Postmedia flat earther and climate-stupid columnist, who will be in good company with Paige MacPherson of the Canadian Taxpayers’ Federation (Alberta branch) and Adelle Nazarian, national security reporter for Breitbart News.

Passez le dramamine, svp!

If it weren’t for Maryam Monsef, Candace Malcolm would be reduced to filing nothing more pointed than her nails.

Surely the perfect situation for a soul-satisfying adaptation of Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None.”

So, the cruise leaves on Sunday, 20 November. Are the 120 rooms for TheRebel cruise filled?

Still mentioned as “7-day Eastern Caribbean” general cruise on the FlightCentre.ca web pages, whose company Mr. Levant was using for bookings.

Hey, that’s the oft-cited 11th province attempt in the House of Commons motions by Prime Minister Robert Borden in 1917, 1919, Max Saltsman, NDP in 1974 etc. and recently often by Conservative MP Peter Goldring.
Will the Ezra crowd damage relations with our (possible future) (11th province) friends down there?

Speaking of “Milo Yiannopoulos, poster boy for the alt-right movement and self-styled internet super villain” as Frank put it above.
I see a headline in today’s Times (London, UK) Saturday November 19 2016:
    “Trump firebrand to address schoolboys”
British journalist Milo Yiannopoulos, the self-declared face of America’s alt-right, will address sixth form students in the latest controversy over his public speaking.”

So not on a cruise boat with Ezra’s gang then!

At noon PST on Tuesday, the Nieux Amsterdam is moored at the island of Grand Turk, /centerx:-71.1/centery:21.4/zoom:14 on MariineTraffic.com’s Google Maps.

No bad reports in tcweeklynews.com newspaper.
Or on rtc107fm.com, the government radio station (there are a half dozen other FM, 2 AM radio stations).

But the day is long and they don’t leave for several hours yet.

There’s a retired Los Angeles-class fast-attack sub for sale on eBay…comes with a full set of Harpoon anti-ship missiles…who’s in?
