  1. Roland Beaulieu says:

The Prime Minister again demonstrates that he is a real hard liner when rubber hits the asphalt. When asked by Poroshenko for military equipment aid,Harper offers blankets to help their war effort. That, according to Harper, should be a significant help to the Ukrainians towards winning the battle with Russia. Harper and Baird talk a tough line to the world regarding Russia’s intransigence, but deliver collateral in the form of blankets. No wonder Canada is now considered an international joke. This recent gesture of help just continues to reinforce the world regarding Canada as the “country that could, but.” Harper and Baird perfectly reflect that old saw, “all mouth, but no trousers”.
