Only if FRANK readers are mainly long-in-the-tooth boomers or beyond will many of them recognize the
5BX fitness plan & its ancient pamphlet dating from the early 1960s that this Duffy satire is based upon! I only recognize it ’cause my Dad, who’d be 100 next year if he was still alive, had a 5BX exercise program pamphlet when I was a lad. FRANK’s cartoonist is flaunting his elder status here!
