FRANK TAX TIP! THE DIGITAL NEWS SUBSCRIPTION TAX CREDIT AND YOU (WELL, NOT YOU IN PARTICULAR)

Unlike Toastmedia or the Toronto Slots, my organ has not been designated a Qualified Journalism Organization™ for the purposes of applying the Digital News Subscription Tax Credit.

While the details escape us (we nodded off halfway through our Form T625) we’re just satisfied to be relieved of such distinguished company.

You already knew Frank doesn’t quack like those other ducks. We offer only the good dirt, sealed with a smirk, often weeks before it appears in what we understand we shall now be calling “the qualified press,” until that, too, begins to sound like a term of condescension.

To be clear, then: Frank subscribers, already scandalously well-informed, inappropriately amused and devilishly attractive, are not eligible to claim the additional advantage of the Digital News Subscription Tax Credit, nor should they so attempt. The finest things in life, after all, are not always deductible.

“T625 Application for Qualified Canadian Journalism Organization Designation”

Though I think they meant the Form T635.

Anyway, Re-up your subs to FrankMag, buy a subscription for a friend (or enemy).

[ And light a candle and pray a Novena for the Print Subscriptions to come back.]

I’m claiming my tax credit anyways…if those CRA vampires want a front-page SCOC cage match on their leathery reptilian hands, well, they know where to find me.

Exactly. Claim it and let them come to you and raise the question. Somewhere, it will be reported (most likely digitally) and then, er, well, the point will be proven.

What horseshit is this? Frank is a semi-legit news source.
